At the Thrive4Life Wellbeing Centre, we offer private one-to-one Pilates, combined Pilates & Massage sessions, and several weekly group classes within the Lloyd’s building — so there’s something for everyone!
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that focuses on controlled movement, breathing, and alignment. With a strong emphasis on core strength, balance, and flexibility, it’s suitable for people of all fitness levels and backgrounds — from beginners to elite athletes.
As a holistic discipline, Pilates not only supports physical strength and posture but also contributes to mental clarity and stress reduction, making it an ideal option for those seeking both rehabilitation and relaxation.
One-to-One Pilates
Our popular one-to-one sessions are led by Dorothy Kovacs, a qualified massage therapist and Pilates instructor. These appointments are tailored to your body, goals, and abilities — and are ideal for addressing postural imbalances, chronic pain, injury prevention, or enhancing correct pilates movement sequences.

A focused, private session tailored to your individual needs.
🧘 Pilates & Massage Combo (60 mins) – £90
This integrated session includes:
- Postural assessment
- 30-minute therapeutic Pilates session
- 30-minute massage
- Rehabilitation advice and a personalised stretching plan
Group Pilates Classes
Join our 40-minute group Pilates classes in the Social Hub at the Lloyd’s building. Held at lunchtime and after work, these welcoming sessions are suitable for all ability levels and provide a great way to improve strength, flexibility, balance and posture in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Our Thursday lunchtime Pilates classes are led by Dorothy Kovacs and are designed to help you build core strength, improve mobility and support your overall wellbeing.
Duration: 40 minutes.
Location: Social Hub, Lloyd’s Building.
Please bring: Your own mat and towel, however, spare mats are available if needed.
For visitors who do not already have access to the Lloyd’s Building, we can arrange a visitor pass in advance.
