Whether you’re looking to build core strength, improve flexibility, support recovery from injury, or simply enhance your overall health and wellbeing, Pilates offers a gentle yet effective approach to fitness and mobility.
At the Thrive4Life Wellbeing Centre, we offer private one-to-one Pilates, combined Pilates & Massage sessions, and several weekly group classes within the Lloyd’s building — so there’s something for everyone!

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that focuses on controlled movement, breathing, and alignment. With a strong emphasis on core strength, balance, and flexibility, it’s suitable for people of all fitness levels and backgrounds — from beginners to elite athletes.
As a holistic discipline, Pilates not only supports physical strength and posture but also contributes to mental clarity and stress reduction, making it an ideal option for those seeking both rehabilitation and relaxation.
One-to-One Pilates
Our popular one-to-one sessions are led by Dorothy Kovacs, a qualified massage therapist and Pilates instructor. These appointments are tailored to your body, goals, and abilities — and are ideal for addressing postural imbalances, chronic pain, injury prevention, or enhancing correct pilates movement sequences.
🧘 One-to-One Pilates (40 mins) – £70
A focused, private session tailored to your individual needs.
🧘 Pilates & Massage Combo (60 mins) – £90
This integrated session includes:
- Postural assessment
- 30-minute therapeutic Pilates session
- 30-minute massage
- Rehabilitation advice and a personalised stretching plan
Group Pilates Classes
Our 40-minute lunchtime and after-work group classes take place in the Social Hub of the Lloyd’s building. These fun and accessible sessions are a great way to improve strength, flexibility, and posture in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Please bring: your own mat and towel. Spare mats are available if needed
💪 Group Pilates Class – £8
Group 40-minute Pilates classes in the Lloyd’s building every Tuesday (lunchtime) AND every Thursday (lunchtime and after-work). Pilates is an invaluable tool for promoting overall wellbeing and fostering a proactive approach to fitness and healthcare.
These classes take place in the ‘Social Hub’ in the Lloyd’s building and we will arrange a visitor building pass for anyone who doesn’t have one. Please bring your own Pilates mat and towel! (We do have some spare mats if you forget yours though).
Your Pilates instructor for our Tuesday class will normally be Hollie Lindsay and for our Thursday classes will normally be Dorothy Kovacs.
