Podiatrists (also known as Chiropodists) are specialists in foot health. At the Thrive4Life Wellbeing Centre, our podiatry service covers a wide range of concerns — from skin issues to complex biomechanical problems affecting gait, posture, and performance. Our podiatrist also treats a range of nail-related conditions including fungal nail infections and nail reconstruction following trauma or surgery.

Whether you're dealing with ongoing discomfort, sports injuries, or recurrent foot issues, our podiatrist offers a personalised and results-focused approach.

See below for the full list of Podiatry services available, with online booking available at the bottom of the page.

Podiatry Treatments Available

Initial General Podiatry Assessment & Treatment (45 mins – £85 £72.25)

Assessment and treatment of common foot problems, including:

  • Nail care (cut, file and clear)
  • Corns and calluses
  • Ingrown toenails
  • Diabetic foot assessment
  • Skin and nails issues (management of athlete’s foot, fungal nails, verruca, psoriasis and dermatitis)

Please note: verruca and fungal nail treatments involve adherence to an at-home management plan and may require multiple appointments.

Initial Biomechanical Assessment (45 mins – £85 £72.25)

Common issues requiring a Biomechanical assessment include:

  • Heel pain
  • Sporting injuries
  • ‘Bunions’
  • Reoccurring corns and painful callus
  • Soft tissue injuries (such as ankle pain, Achilles tendinopathy and plantar fasciitis)

This appointment involves a full assessment of the lower limb —both weight-bearing, non-weight-bearing and gait analysis— to identify mechanical issues that may be causing pain or discomfort when walking, running or standing. Based on assessments, we create a tailored exercise programme, discuss pain management techniques and recommend orthotic devices to aid your recovery.

Medical Pedicure (45 mins – £85 £72.25)

A comprehensive foot treatment that includes:

  • Nail cut and file
  • Callus and corn removal
  • Skin filing and buffing
  • Nail treatment and oil application

Leaves feet smooth, replenished, and refreshed. Ideal for regular foot care and long-lasting results.

Follow-up Podiatry Treatment (30 mins – £65 £55.25)

Follow-up treatment for common foot problems following an Initial Assessment. This session can also be booked to review and track your progress following a Biomechanical Assessment.

Podiatry Check-Up (15 mins – £30)

Short, targeted session for specific treatments such as verruca management and re-dressing following ingrown toenail treatment.

- Please only book this if our Podiatrist has already commenced treatment with you, and has requested that you book in for a brief check-up.
