In-person Talk: Say "No" to Heart Disease
An in-person talk in the Lloyd’s building
Say "No" to Heart Disease
Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide - yet it is also one of the most preventable. In recognition of Heart Health Month, leading consultant cardiologist Professor Guy Lloyd explains what heart disease really is, why it’s so common, and why early awareness and action are key to protecting long-term heart health.
Drawing on extensive clinical experience, Professor Lloyd explores how the heart works and how everyday factors, such as movement, blood pressure, cholesterol, stress, sleep, and lifestyle choices, influence risk over time. This clear, evidence-based session provides practical insight to help people take a more informed, proactive approach to protecting their heart health.
Talk Duration: About 35 minutes, plus time for questions and answers.
